On July 20, 2026 I joined three cybersecurity professionals from Swiss Re, QBE, and Parametrix for an IWCA She Speaks panel on the security implications of IoT in enterprise environments.

As the IT Infrastructure Support Technician at the Philadelphia Housing Authority, I brought an operational perspective on how connected systems create real vulnerabilities. We covered asset inventory, network segmentation, firmware patching, lateral movement risk, and how IoT failures translate into business interruption and insurance exposure.

The panel received an Excellent rating across all categories from the IWCA Mentorship Committee.
